Creating Recovery Disk

If the system is not booted, you can boot the system using the recovery disk.

This only applies to models that support the ‘Backup/Recovery’ menu of LG Update & Renew.

Caution:

Creating a recovery disk will delete all data on the external disk, so please back up important data in advance.

Tip:

You can create the recovery disk only on an external disk (USB memory, HDD, etc.).

Select the Start button [] > [All] and run [LG Update & Renew].
Select the external disk in [Recovery] > [Create Recovery Disk].
Check [Agree] and select [OK].
Once the recovery disk has been created, click [OK]. After Creating Recovery Disk is complete, you can back up Windows and the disk.
