Keyboard & Keyboard Backlight

The keyboard allows the user to input data or give commands.

The keyboard may differ in appearance and color depending on your country.

Caution:

Spilling a watery substance like coffee or juice on the keyboard may cause a fault, malfunction, or electric shock.
Some of the keys may not work properly when you use several keys at the same time while playing a PC game.
Please change the key combination settings according to the combinations necessary for the game play or use an external keyboard dedicated for gameplay.

Using Hot Keys

Hot Keys are shortcut keys that can run some functions and software of the PC, and using them allows you to use the PC more easily.

Fn + Esc	Locks/Unlocks the Fn key.
Fn + F1	Run My gram
Fn + F2	Adjusts screen brightness (brightness decreases in 11 levels).
Fn + F3	Adjusts screen brightness (brightness increases in 11 levels).
Fn + F4	Switches to using the Touchpad Mode Each time you press the [Fn] + [F4] keys, the mode switches between Touchpad Off (touchpad disabled) and Touchpad On (touchpad enabled). To set Touchpad Auto (disables automatic use of touchpad when inserting an external USB mouse), select the Start button [] > [Settings] > [Bluetooth & devices] > [Touchpad] and uncheck [Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected] in [Touchpad]. Each time you press the [Fn] + [F4] keys, the mode switches between Touchpad Off and Touchpad Auto. Since it takes about 1 to 2 seconds to initialize after switching to the touchpad function, we recommend you to use the device after initialization is completed.
Fn + F5	Switches to the monitor (projector).
Fn + F6	Switch to the Keyboard Backlight Mode.
Fn + F7	Switches to Cooling Mode Each time you press the [Fn] + [F7] keys, the mode switches between High Performance Mode, Max Mode, AI Mode, Low Noise Mode and Normal Mode.
Fn + F8	Switches to the Microphone Mode Each time you press the [Fn] + [F8] keys, the mode switches between Mic Mute (microphone mute) and Mic Unmute (microphone unmute).
Fn + F9	Switches to the Webcam Mode Each time you press the [Fn] + [F9] keys, the mode switches between Camera Off (webcam unavailable) and Camera On (webcam available).
Fn + F10	Mute
Fn + F11	Adjust the volume (lower)
Fn + F12	Adjust the volume (louder)
Fn + A	Run Capture Tool
Fn + S	Switches to the Sleep Mode Runs in the mode set in Windows. (Example: Sleep Mode, Hibernate Mode)
Fn + L	Switches to PC Cleaning Mode
Fn + Space bar	Run gram chat On-Device It is not run in a model whose system memory is configured below 16 GB.
Fn +	Works as the [Pop-up Window] key.
Fn + ◀	Works as the [Home] key.
Fn + ▶	Works as the [End] key.
Fn + ▲	Works as the [Page Up] key.
Fn + ▼	Works as the [Page Down] key.

Tip:

While pressing and holding the [Fn] key, the shortcut guide is displayed on the screen. You can press each key and use the function immediately.

Keyboard Backlight

You can use the Keyboard Backlight function to use the product in a dark environment.

Press the [Fn] + [F6] keys on the keyboard and use Keyboard Backlight.

The status changes in the following order: KBD Backlight Off, KBD Backlight Low, and KBD Backlight High.

[Setting]

You can set the Keyboard Backlight and off time on My gram.

Select the Start button [] > [All] and run [My gram].
Select [PC Maintenance] > [Keyboard] to set the keyboard backlight.
