Using the Control Lock
Use the Control Lock function to help prevent a child from activating the cooking surface of the cooktop. It also prevents unintended setting changes while cleaning the surface with a cloth by locking all buttons on the control panel except for the POWER button.
Switching the Control Lock On/Off
Press the Control Lock button for approximately 3 seconds. An audible signal sounds as confirmation.
Press any control button. L will appear in the indicator, indicating the control lock has been activated.
To switch the control lock off, press the Control Lock button again for 3 seconds. An audible signal sounds as confirmation.
If you activate the control lock while the cooktop is operating, the POWER button remains active for safety, so you can turn the cooktop off.
If the control lock is enabled when the cooktop is not operating, all buttons except for the Control Lock button will be disabled, including the POWER button.
