The freezer ice bin must be placed correctly. Failure to do so can damage the ice bin and icemaker.

Install the ice bin so that the label on the handle faces front, toward the freezer door. The rear side of the ice bin must face the inside of the freezer.

• If you have both Craft Ice and Mini Cubed Ice, the bin for the Craft Ice must be located on the left and the bin for the Mini Cubed Ice on the right.

If you are not using the icemaker, remove the ice bin to create more space inside the freezer.

The pad attached to the bottom of the ice bin is designed to reduce the sound of the ice dropping. Do not remove the pad.
