The COOKTOP HOT indicator flashes in the display as long as any surface cooking area is too hot to touch. It remains on after the element is turned off and until the surface has cooled to approximately 65 °C. The COOKTOP HOT indicator also flashes during the self clean cycle.

For best results, press buttons in the center, even when activating a button's secondary function. The buttons may not work properly if pressed too far from the center.
