Changing the Oven Light
The oven light is a standard 15-watt appliance halogen.
Ensure that the appliance is switched off before replacing the lamp to avoid the possibility of electric shock.
Lock the gas valve before replacing the lamp to prevent gas leak.
Make sure that the oven and bulb are cool.
Disconnect the electrical power to the appliance at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel. Failure to do so can result in severe personal injury, death, or electrical shock.
Wear gloves while changing the oven light. Glass fragments from broken bulbs can cause risk of injury.
If you apply force, the glass or oven may crack or be damaged.
For changing the light socket, please contact a service technician.
Unplug the oven or disconnect power and lock the gas valve.
Turn the glass lamp cover counterclockwise to remove.
Pull out the bulb.
Replace the bulb, and reassemble the class cover by snapping it back into place.
Plug in the oven or reconnect the power. Switch on the circuit breaker to see if the light turns on.
