Fresh Care

Use this function when you will not be able to unload your clothes immediately after the wash cycle ends.The drum will tumble periodically for up to 19 hours to prevent wrinkles.Turn on the power.Select the desired cycle.Press and hold the Steam button for 3 seconds to select this function.Press the Start/Pause or Power button at any time to unload laundry.

Using the Pre-wash Option

This option adds a pre-wash (for about 15 - 17 minutes) for improved cleaning of heavily soiled or stained clothing.If you select Pre Wash after putting the detergent directly in the drum, the detergent may be washed away, reducing the washing performance.

Child Lock

Use this function to disable the controls. This function can prevent children from changing cycles or operating this washer.The function does not lock the door.Once this function is set, all buttons are locked except the Power button.When the controls are locked, CL and the remaining time are alternately shown on the display during the wash cycle.Turning off the power will not reset this function. You must deactivate this function before you can access any other options and functions.Turn on the power.Press and hold the Pre Wash button for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate this function.When the function is deactivated, a chime will sound and the remaining time for the current cycle will reappear on the display.

Delay Wash

Once you have selected the cycle and other settings, press the Delay Wash button to delay the start of the wash cycle.Each press of this button increases the delay time by 1 hour, for up to 19 hours.Once the desired delay time is set, press the Start/Pause button to start the delay time.If the Start/Pause button is not pressed to begin the delay time, the washer automatically turns off after a certain time and all cycle settings are lost.

Saving and Recalling Your Custom Cycle

Use the Custom PGM and PGM Save functions to save and recall your custom cycle.You can customize a cycle by adjusting options, if needed.Washing method, number of rinses, spin speed and water temperature, etc. can be saved in this customized function.Press the Power button to turn on the washer.Select a washing cycle and set your preferred options as desired.Press and hold the Custom PGM button for 3 seconds to save the custom cycle.Press the Power button to turn on the washer.Load the laundry into the drum and add detergents.Press the Custom PGM button and press the Start/Pause button.

Cold WashTM

Press the Cold WashTM button to save energy by using cooler water. It will increase the wash and rinse times to maintain wash performance.Wash time will increase up to several minutes with this option.For best wash results, only wash small loads (less than 8 lb) with this option.

Water Plus

Press the Water Plus button to add extra water to the wash cycle for better wash performance with large or bulky items.If the washer reaches its maximum water level, this button will have no effect.To add more water while a cycle is running, pause the cycle then select this option.

Extra Rinse

This option adds an extra rinse to the selected cycle. Use this option to help ensure the removal of detergent or bleach residue from fabrics.Press the Extra Rinse button to add additional rinses to the cycle.

Rinse+Spin

Select this option to rinse and spin a load separately from a regular cycle. This can be helpful in preventing fresh stains from setting in fabrics.Press the Power button to turn on the washer.Do not select a cycle.Press the Rinse+Spin button.You can change the spin speed by pressing the Spin button.Press the Start/Pause button.

Signal

The washer plays a melody when the wash cycle is finished. The buttons make a sound each time they are pressed. Use this button to adjust the volume of the melody and button tones.Press the Signal button to adjust the volume to High, Low, or Off.When no sound is heard, the signal is off. The volume can be adjusted at any time as long as the washer is turned on.
