LG PC Care

LG PC Care helps checking and troubleshooting the problems that occurred in the PC.

Tip:

LG PC Care can be re-installed through LG Update & Recovery (or LG Update).

To use some functions of LG PC Care, your PC must be connected to the Internet.

Running LG PC Care

Select the Start button [] > [All] and run [LG PC Care].

LG PC Care Main Screen

  1. Information Button: Runs Help or displays information about the software.

  2. Minimize/Exit Button: Minimizes the size of the window or closes the program window.

  3. Timeline: Allows you to check events that have occurred on your PC by date and to create system restore points.

  4. App Management: Allows you to check and remove installed security and vaccine programs.

  5. System Diagnosis: Diagnoses problems of your PC automatically and helps you to conduct self-diagnosis and solve problems easily.

  6. Service Center: Allows you to find simple solutions for your problem on the LG Electronics website or access the download library and LG Electronics service website.

  7. Customer Center: Allows you to schedule/start service consultation with LG Electronics or submit your opinion to LG Electronics.

  8. Settings: Allows you to configure the auto-start settings and problem notification function of LG PC Care.

Problem Notification and Troubleshooting

If a problem occurs due to a system error, LG PC Care will send you a notification message and suggest a solution.

Tip:

To receive a notification message, turn on the PC problem notification in the [Settings] menu of LG PC Care.

  1. Select the LG PC Care notification message displayed on the screen.

  2. LG PC Care launches, displaying a troubleshooting message.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to troubleshoot the problem.
