Backing up/Recovering Data
You can back up and recover the data in the Downloads, Videos, Documents, Desktop, Photos and Music folders in Windows.
This content only applies to the models provided with LG Update & Recovery.
Any data other than those in these folders are not backed up/recovered.
All user data on the disk to be recovered may be deleted, so you must back up all important data in advance.
For backup or recovery, the adapter must be connected to the PC.
You can perform backup only on an external disk (USB memory, HDD, etc.).
Data Backup

Connect the external disk where the backup file will be saved to the PC.

Select the Start button [
] > [All] and run [LG Update & Recovery]. -
Select [Backup] > [Data Backup].

Select the external disk and click [OK].

When the backup is complete, click [OK].
Data Recovery

Connect the external disk where the backup file is saved to the PC.

Select the Start button [
] > [All] and run [LG Update & Recovery]. -
Select [Recovery] > [User Data Recovery].

Select the backup file on the external disk and click [OK].

When the recovery is complete, click [OK].
