To turn the icemaker off, press and hold the Ice On button for three seconds and set the Ice On button to Off. Also, shut off the water supply to the appliance.
The ice bucket should be emptied any time the Ice On button is turned Off.
If the ambient temperature will drop below freezing, have a qualified technician drain the water supply system to prevent serious property damage due to flooding caused by ruptured water lines or connections.
