The base-pan may overflow due to high humidity or you may hear a pinging noise caused by water being picked up and thrown against the condenser on rainy days. To drain the excess water, remove the drain cap from the base pan of the unit and secure the Drain Pan.
To ensure maximum efficiency it is recommended to check to ensure the rubber cap is properly inserted. However, removing it will lower the efficiency of your unit.
Remove the rubber cap from the hole under the base-pan.

Install the drain pan over the corner of the cabinet with 2-4 screws.
Drain pan can be install in 4 directions.
Connect the drain hose to the outlet located on the bottom of the drain pan b.
You can purchase the drain hose or tubing locally to satisfy your particular needs. Drain hose is not supplied.
