Nearby Share

Nearby Share allows you to transfer files between your PC and Android devices conveniently.

Tip:

Nearby Share can be re-installed through LG Update & Recovery (or LG Update).

For details on how to use Nearby Share, refer to the [Help] menu of Nearby Share.

The app may not work properly on some mobile devices and upgrading the operating system of a mobile device may prevent some features from working properly.

Running Nearby Share

  1. Select the Start button [] > [All apps] and run [Nearby Share from Google].

  2. Log into the Google account as guided.

    – Make sure you log out from the account after using it on a public PC.

  3. When the Settings screen appears, set the name of your PC and the user groups with which you want to share your files. Then press [Done].

  1. Support: You can find out the details about how to use Nearby Share.

  2. Settings: You can configure your PC name, file storage location, and the sharing range of your device. You can also check the app information.

  3. Account: Displays the information of the logged-in Google account.

  4. Device visibility: Allows you to set the user groups with which you want to share your files.

  5. Send File Section: Drag and drop files or folders to this section to share them.
