LG gram Link allows you to transfer files conveniently to nearby PCs and mobile devices.
LG gram Link can be re-installed through LG Update & Recovery (or LG Update).
To use LG gram Link, the devices using the app must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and the app must be running on the devices.
The app may not work properly on some mobile devices and upgrading the operating system of a mobile device may prevent some features from working properly.
The figures herein are subject to change without prior notice.
Select the Start button [
] > [All apps] and run [LG gram Link].
Use the camera app of the mobile device to scan the [Download LG gram Link mobile app] QR code, and install the app on the mobile device.
You can search LG gram Link on Google Play or App Store and install the mobile device app.
When the installation is complete, press [Next].
Connect the PC and mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network.
In the LG gram Link app of the mobile device, select [Register on my LG PC] and scan the QR code on the PC screen to register the mobile device.
When the registration is complete, press [OK].
Button for registering mobile devices: Registers mobile devices.
Information Button: Runs Help or displays information about the software.
Minimize/Exit Button: Minimizes the size of the window or closes the program window.
Send: Sends files (photos, videos, and documents) stored in your PC to other mobile devices and PCs.
Import: Imports photos and videos from a registered mobile device to your PC or to other registered mobile devices.
Connect: Shares screens as well as the keyboard/mouse between your PC and a registered mobile device.
Settings: Allows you to manage the LG gram Link app settings and registered mobile devices.
In the [Send] menu, drag and drop the files (photos, videos, and documents) that you want to the area marked with dotted lines.
You can use the Send File function faster by dragging and dropping files to the icon of a discovered device.
Select a device.
- If no device appears on the screen,
select [
].
- If still no device is discovered, refer to [Reconnecting to Bluetooth] below.
Enter the PIN code displayed on the PC screen in the connected device. (If you are sending files to a registered device, you don’t need to enter the PIN code.)
You only need to enter the PIN code once. Devices with past connection history do not display the PIN code input screen.
When you’re done transferring files, select [
].
The Import File function is available only to the mobile devices registered on your PC.
In the [Import] menu, select a registered mobile device.
When the mobile device's album is displayed on the app, select the files or videos you want.
Select [
] to save the selected files in the PC.
Select [
] to send the selected files to other registered mobile devices.
The files saved in your PC can be found in [Settings] > [Download location].
In the [Connect] menu, select the menu for a desired function and connect to the device.
– If you want to change the device
to connect to, select [
] and change the device.
Mirror Mobile device screen: The screen of the registered mobile device appears on the PC screen, and you can control the mobile device via the PC. (If you want to stop using the PC's keyboard and mouse on the mirrored mobile device screen, press [Esc].)
Extend/Duplicate PC screen: Displays the PC screen on the registered mobile device.
Share Keyboard/Mouse: You can use the PC's mouse/keyboard for the registered mobile device as well. (You can use the following shortcut keys to switch between devices: [Ctrl] + [1] to switch to the PC and [Ctrl] + [2] to switch to the mobile device)
If your keyboard or mouse does not work on the mobile device screen, refer to [Reconnecting to Bluetooth] below.
If you are using the PC's keyboard for the mobile device and want to switch between Korean and English, press the following keys:
Android: [Shift] + [Space] / iOS: [Caps Lock]
Select the menu again to disconnect the device.
When no device is discovered / When the PC's keyboard or mouse does not work on the mobile device screen:
Select the [
] icon on the right side of the taskbar,
right-click the [
] icon, and press [Exit] to exit the app.
Select the Start button [
] > [Settings] > [Bluetooth & devices], press
the [
] icon for the mobile device, and press [Remove device] to remove
the mobile device.
In the Bluetooth settings for the mobile device, remove the connected PC.
Turn off the Bluetooth function of the PC and the mobile device, wait for 10 seconds, and turn it back on.
Run the LG gram Link app and reconnect the PC.
