Operating with the Wireless Remote Control
Aim at the signal receptor on the floor standing type air conditioner when operating.Block a strong light over the signal receptor with a curtain or etc. so as to prevent the abnormal operation. (ex: electronic quick start, ELBA, inverter type fluorescent lamp)The remote control signal can be received at a distance of up to about 7 meters.Be sure that there are no obstructions between the remote control and the signal receptor.Do not drop or throw the remote control.Do not place the remote control in a location exposed to direct sunlight, or next to a heating unit, or other heat source.
Cooling, Auto, Dehumidification, Heating, Fan Mode

Cold wind will be coming out when compressor is operated after 3 minutes.What is Deforst mode and Prehating function?Heating operation will be started in a little time. This is not a failure because it is the operation to reduce frost.During heating operation, if outside temperature is low and humidity is high, heating capability will be deteriorated as frost is generated at outdoor unit, therefore, the frost will be removed by performing defrost operation.When indoor and outdoor unit fans are automatically stopped and defrost operation is completed, preheating for heating cycle will automatically be started.During the heating, indoor fan will not be operated until indoor tubing temperature becomes more than 22 7, therefore, this is the function to block the discharge of cold wind, so heating cannot be performed.During defrost operation, * will be indicated at display section of indoor.
Power Cooling, Power Heating
You can change the room temperature quickly.Turn the appliance on.Press the Mode button repeatedly to select the desired mode.The operation is available with the Cooling and Heating modes.Press the 9/─ button.When you press the 9/─ button again, the power cooling or power heating function will be turned off.
Adjusting the Fan Speed

Adjusting the Airflow Direction (On Some Models)
You can adjust the direction of airflow vertically.Turn the appliance on.Press the Swing (y) button to adjust the up-down direction of the airflow automatically.Press the Swing (y) button once more during rotation, the wind direction is fixed at the desired location.Turn the appliance on.Press the Swing (A) button to adjust the left-right direction of the airflow automatically.Press the Swing (A) button once more during rotation, the wind direction is fixed at the desired location.
Timer Setting
Press and hold the On Timer button for about 3 seconds.The AM or PM icon flashes at the bottom of the display screen.Press the d or c button to set the desired time.If you press and hold the button for a long time, the time will change more quickly in 10 minute increments.Press Set/Clear button to stop the icon from flashing.Check the icon for A.M. and P.M.This function can be set when the appliance is turned on.Press the On Timer button.The ON icon below flashes at the bottom of the display screen.Press the d or c button to set the desired time.Press the Set/Clear button to stop the icon from flashing.This function can be set when the appliance is turned off.Press the Off Timer button.The OFF icon below flashes at the bottom of the display screen.Press the d or c button to set the desired time.Press the Set/Clear button to stop the icon from flashing.You can cancel all timer settings.Press Cancel button.If you wish to cancel a specific timer setting, press the each timer button as you want. Then press the Cancel button while aiming the remote controller at the signal receptor.The timer lamp on the air conditioner and the display will go off.
I-Control Ampere Function (On Some Models)
You can bring the effect of the power saving.Turn the appliance on.Press the Mode button repeatedly to select the Cooling mode.Press the ^ button.Press the a or b button to select the desired step.DisplayStepAONormalA11 stepAz2 step AO means the functionis not used.Press the Set/Clear button to set the function. Auto Dry Function (On Some Models)
You can reduces the moisture remaining inside the air conditioner when the air conditioner is turned off.When pressing the t button after setting the function, evaporator in indoor unit will be automatically dried as showing counting 00 to 99 on its display panel.After indicating 99 on the display panel, the unit will be automatically turned off. Press the F button.Auto dry function is released at initial state as standard.The indoor unit will respond with beep once and indicate “s[” on its display panel. Then Auto dry function will be set.The indoor unit will respond with beep twice and Auto dry function will be removed.
