Test the Range Before Use

Automatic Ignition System

To check automatic ignition of the Bake burner, follow the steps below:

  • Remove all packing materials from inside the oven cavity.

  • Push in and turn the oven knob counterclockwise. You will hear a clicking sound indicating proper operation of the spark module.

  • Visually check that the oven burner has lit.

Manual Ignition System (In case of power failure)

To check manual ignition of the Bake burner, follow the steps below:

  • Remove all packing materials from inside the oven cavity.

  • Push in and turn the oven knob counterclockwise.

  • Hold a lighter flame or a lit match to the hole located in the oven bottom.

  • Visually check that the oven burner has lit.
