Locations of Surface Elements and Controls
The position of the cooking zone being controlled is shown in each cooking zone icon on the control panel. The diagram below is for the 36" cooktop. The 30" control panel only includes 4 cooking zone icons.

a | POWER | Press and hold for 1 second to turn the entire cooktop ON. When it is ON, the cooktop is in standby mode until a cooking zone is activated. | e | Control Lock | Press and hold for 3 seconds to lock the control panel. |
b | Simmer | Press the Simmer key with the cooking zone selected to simmer sauces or stews. | f | Cooking Zone | Check the status of a cooking zone and adjust the cooking zone. For details, see "Operating Instructions". |
c | Pause | Sets the active cooking zone to minimum output. Press to activate or deactivate. | g | Timer | Press to set a timer. For details, see "Operating Instructions". |
d | Wi-Fi | Connect the appliance to a home Wi-Fi network. | h | Power Level | Select the power level for the cooking zone. |
