Detaching/Assembling Shelves
The type of shelves may differ from model to model.
Do not clean glass shelves with warm water while they are cold. Shelves may break if exposed to sudden temperature changes or impact.
Open refrigerator doors fully when detaching or assembling shelves.
Full-Width Shelf
To detach, tilt up the front of the shelf.
Support the shelf from the bottom and tilt one end up so the shelf is at an angle.
If needed, lower one side of the shelf on the bottom of the refrigerator interior.
Pull the shelf out.
Assemble the shelf in the reverse order of the removal process.
Half-Width Shelf
To detach a shelf, hold the adjoining shelf so that it does not move.
Pull the two shelves apart in the middle and tilt up the front of the shelf you want to remove until it's free from the other shelf.
Support the shelf from the bottom and lift it straight up.
Pull the shelf out.
To assemble, tilt the front of the shelf up and guide the shelf hooks into the slots at a desired height.
Lower the front of the shelf so that the hooks drop into the slots.
CautionMake sure that shelves are level from one side to the other. Failure to do so may result in the shelf falling or spilled food.
