Safety for a Gas Range

  • Keep the surroundings of the appliance free of combustible materials, gasoline and other flammable vapors or liquids.

  • Do not obstruct the flue gas outlet of the oven or grill.

  • It should not be used as a room heater.

  • If it smells like gas:

    • Open windows.

    • Do not operate electrical switches.

    • Turn off all flames by closing the general stop valve.

    • Call the leakage suppression service or your gas supplier immediately.

  • In case of breakage of the surface of the appliance:

    • Immediately close all burners and any electrical heating elements and isolate the appliance from the electrical power supply.

    • Do not touch the surface of the appliance.

    • Do not use the appliance.
