Cleaning the Automatic Dispenser Tray

Remove and clean the automatic dispenser tray every time you refill the detergent/softener or change to a new type of detergent/softener.

Remove and clean the detergent dispenser drawer once or twice a month. Leaving detergent in the detergent dispenser drawer for an extended period or using the washer for a long time may cause the build-up of residue in the detergent dispenser drawer.

Warning
  • Do not spray water inside the washer. Doing so may cause fire or electric shock.

  • Turn off the washer, and unplug the power cord.

  • Press the circle to open the lower cover.

  • Push in on the top of the automatic dispenser tray to slide it out and use the handle to remove the tray.

  • Turn the liquid detergent dispenser cap a and liquid softener dispenser cap b counterclockwise to remove them.

  • Turn the check valves c on the back of the tray counterclockwise to remove them.

  • Clean the automatic dispenser tray and check valves with warm water.

  • Wipe off any moisture with a dry towel or cloth after cleaning.

  • Assemble the liquid detergent dispenser cap, liquid softener dispenser cap and check valves on the automatic dispenser tray and turn them clockwise until tight.

  • Insert the automatic dispenser tray until it clicks and close the lower cover.
