Removing the Refrigerator Door

• Remove the top hinge cover screw a. Lift the hook (not visible), located at the bottom of the front side of the cover b, with a flat-head screwdriver.

  

• Detach all the wire harnesses c. Unscrew the ground wire d.

  

  Note

  • The number of wire harnesses may vary depending on the model.

  • Ground wire is only present on some models.

• Rotate the hinge lever e clockwise. Lift the top hinge f free of the hinge lever latch g.

  

  Caution

  • When lifting the hinge free of the latch, be careful that the door does not fall forward.

• Lift the door from the bottom hinge pin h.

  

• Place the door, inside facing up, on a non-scratching surface.
