Using the Option Setting Mode

You can set various options and extra functions to meet your individual needs.

  • Ensure the appliance is off.

  • Press the Power a and Half Load b buttons at the same time to enter the Settings Mode.

  • Press the button to select the desired function. Then press the button repeatedly to toggle through until the desired setting appears in the display.

    Refer to the table below. Each time you press the button, the setting changes in the following sequence:

  • Press the START c button to save changes.

Note

  • Some functions, such as Remote Control Mode, Product Sound, Digital Display, and Brightness of Digital Display can only be set in the LG ThinQ application.

  • See the Water Hardness Level and Rinse Aid Level for more detailed information about these settings.

  • Setting the Chime Sound

    • Set the Chime Sound to Hi for the loudest volume, Lo for a quieter volume, or Off to disable it completely.

    • The alarm sound cannot be reduced or turned off, regardless of settings.

  • Setting the Off Sound

    • Turn the sound on or off once the wash cycle is finished. This setting is different from setting the Chime Sound.

  • Setting the Dry Option Auto Setting

    • The default setting is Off.

    • When the Auto Open Dry function is turned On. Setting this option makes automatically applied the Dry Boost depending on the course.

  • Setting the Keep Fresh Mode

    • The default setting is Off.

    • After the wash cycle finishes, the Keep Fresh Mode activates. During the Keep Fresh Mode, the heater turns off and air blows.

    • Closing or opening the product's door turns off the Keep Fresh Mode.

    • The Drying Fan Icon remains on during Keep Fresh Mode.

  • Setting the Cycle Complete Notification

    • The default setting is Off.

    • Selecting this option keeps "End" displayed until the door is opened after the wash cycle ends.

    • This option can only be set when the Auto Open Dry function is turned off.
