Cleaning the Fan

Clean the fan inside the appliance.

Disassemble the Appliance

  • Turn the appliance off.

  • Remove the lower frame attached to the bottom of the front panel.

  • Pull the front panel slightly forward and lift it up, and then hook the Front Panel Hook onto the Bottom Panel Hanger(Top).

    • Check that the three hooks on the front panel are properly positioned in the three places on the upper part of the bottom panel.

  • Loosen the two screws that secure the lower grill, then hold the upper part of the lower grill and pull it forward to remove it.

Cleaning the Fan

  • Use a cleaning tool, such as a duster, to clean the fan or the area around it.

Caution

  • When cleaning the fan, do not use flammable substances (alcohol, thinner, benzene, etc.), toothpaste, abrasives, etc., but clean with a soft cloth.

  • When cleaning the fan, wear gloves and be careful to avoid injury from sharp parts (heat exchanger, etc.).

Note

  • For safety reasons, the appliance may not operate if it is not fully assembled. Completely assemble the appliance.

  • If the front panel does not close completely, press the Power button on the remote control to turn on the appliance, then turn it off again to close the front panel completely.

Assemble the Appliance

  • Turn the appliance off.

  • Insert the Bottom Grill Hangers and Bottom Grill Hooks into the grooves on the bottom of the indoor unit body, then press the lower grill hooks with your hand until it clicks to completely close the lower grill.

  • Secure the lower grill with two screws.

  • Pull the front panel slightly forward and lift it up, and then hook the Front Panel Hook onto the Bottom Panel Hanger(Bottom).

    • Check that the three front panel hooks are properly positioned in the three locations on the lower part of the bottom panel.

  • Close the front panel by pressing it with your hand.

  • Attach the lower frame to the bottom of the front panel, then press both ends of the lower frame with your hands until they click into place.

Caution

  • Do not forcibly separate or assemble the appliance. Doing so may damage the appliance.

  • Do not forcibly press down on both ends of the lower frame. Doing so may damage the slots in the lower frame.

  • For safety reasons, the appliance may not operate if it is not fully assembled. Completely assemble the appliance.

  • If the front panel does not close completely, press the Power button on the remote control to turn on the appliance, then turn it off again to close the front panel completely.
