Using Multi-view
You can split the display and enjoy two different TV programmes, or one programme along with another input simultaneously.
  1. Press the Home button on the remote control and select My Programmes.
  2. Select Multi-view in the list at the bottom of the screen to display the sub screen.
  3. Select a programme registered in My Programmes.
  4. The selected programme will be displayed in the sub screen.
The main screen will be set to display the most recently used Live TV or input.
The type of video that can be viewed on the sub screen may differ depending on the main screen settings.
The main screen and sub screen settings may vary depending on the model or country.
For Ultra HD and 3D videos, the use of Multi-view will be restricted.
Multi-view and recording feature (available only in some countries) may not be used simultaneously.
When running Multi-view, the videos temporarily saved in Live Playback mode (available only in some countries) are deleted.
[This feature is only available in certain countries.] When the Set Up Universal Control of the set-top box is configured, the set-top box programmes can be viewed on the sub screen.
A scrambled service can only be unlocked for either the main screen or the sub screen.
When Multi-view is used to watch two TV programmes simultaneously, they can only be viewed in Antenna Mode.
This option is available only for some models.

  1. Refers to the main screen.
  2. If the sub screen is selected with the magic remote control, Multi-view is closed and the selected sub screen is enlarged to full screen.
  3. Closes the sub screen.
Only the audio of the main screen is output.
You can scroll the Wheel (OK) button on the magic remote control over the desired screen to change the programme.
You can drag the sub screen with the pointer of the magic remote control to move the position of the sub screen.
Watching in Mode 2
In Mode 1, select Multi-view to switch to Mode 2.

Watching in Mode 2

  1. The main screen is displayed on the left.
  2. The sub screen is displayed on the right.
  3. Multi-view is closed and the selected screen is enlarged to full screen.
Only one audio source will be output, with priority given to the audio of the main screen.
While watching the TV, you can select the desired screen of which the audio will be output.
You can use the Wheel (OK) button on the magic remote control or the P Programme up / Programme down button on the remote control to change the programme of the selected screen.
Select Multi-view again to end the feature.
