This feature is only available on some models.
The high temperature alarm is a function that activates when the freezer temperature rises to a level that could affect food preservation. When activated, the freezer temperature LED on the control panel flashes and an alarm sounds. The high temperature alarm feature cannot be turned off.
To stop the alarm sound, press the Freezer button.
Even after pressing the button, the LED will continue to flash until the freezer compartment sufficiently cools down.
This alarm sounds in the following cases:
When the appliance is turned on for the first time or after an extended power outage (as the freezer temperature may be high).
When the freezer door is open for a long time or opens very frequently.
When larger amounts of hot food are placed into the freezer.
