In areas with hard water, mineral scale can form on internal components of the washer. Periodically clean the mineral buildup on the internal components to extend the lifespan of the washer. Use of a water softener is recommended in areas with hard water.
Use a descaler to remove visible mineral buildup on the washer drum.
After descaling, always run the Tub Clean cycle before washing clothing.
Mineral scale and other spots may be removed from the stainless steel drum using a soft cloth soaked in stainless steel cleaner.
Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners.
After you finish using the appliance, leave the door open overnight to allow air to circulate and dry the drum. This helps prevent odors. In high-traffic areas or where space is tight, use the magnetic door stop to keep the door slightly ajar.
To use the provided door stop (on some models), slide it over the edge of the open door so that the open loop on the end surrounds the prongs of the latch.
Close the door. The door stop should keep the door slightly ajar, allowing air into the drum.
When not in use, the magnet on the door stop can be used to store it on the side of the product.
