Customizing a Washing Programme

Each programme has default settings that are selected automatically. You may also customize these settings using these buttons.This button selects the wash temperature for the selected programme.Press the Temp. button until the desired setting is lit.Select the water temperature suitable for the type of load you are washing. Follow the garment fabric care labels for best results.The spin intensity level can be selected by pressing this button repeatedly.Press the Centrifugado (Spin) button to select spin speed.Press the Suciedad (Soil) button repeatedly until the desired soil level is selected.Pesada ([Heavy]): for normal and heavily soiled clothesNormal ([Normal]): for normal soiled clothesLigera ([Light]): for lightly soiled clothesSelectable options will differ depending on the selected programme.This option spins the load without a wash or rinse cycle. This is useful for spinning dry hand-washables.Prepare the clothes and load the drum.Press the POWER button.Do not select a washing programme and do not add a detergent.Press the Centrifugado (Spin) button for 3 seconds.Press the START/PAUSE button.If you select the washing programme, you will be unable to select a spin only. If this occurs, press POWER button twice to cycle the machine off and back on.

Using Special Options

Use this option to add extra water to the wash cycle for better wash performance with large or bulky items.Use this option to add extra water to the wash cycle for better wash performance with large or bulky items.If the washer reaches its maximum water level, this button will have no effect.To add more water while a cycle is running, pause the cycle and select this option.Selecting the Agua Extra (Water Plus) option with the Algodón/Normal (Normal) cycle automatically changes the cycle to the Lavado profundo (Deep Wash) cycle.This option provides a 30-minute presoak prior to the start of the selected programme. Use this option to presoak garments to help remove difficult spots or stains on fabrics. At the end of the presoak time, the selected programme will begin with the same water used for soaking.This option adds an extra rinse to the selected programme. Use this option to help ensure the removal of detergent or bleach residue from fabrics.Pressing the Enjuague Extra (Extra Rinse) button twice will add two additional rinses to the programme.If a liquid fabric softener is used, it is always dispensed in the final rinse.You cannot select this option with the Sólo Centrifugado (Spin Only) option and Limpieza de la tina (Tub Clean) programme.Selecting the Enjuague Extra (Extra Rinse) option with the Algodón/Normal (Normal) programme automatically changes the programme to the Lavado profundo (Deep Wash) programme.

Using Basic Options

Use this option to save energy by using cooler water while increasing the wash and rinse times to maintain wash performance.Wash time will increase up to several minutes with this option.Selecting this option increases the water supplied during rinsing. The water supplied during washing is not increased.For best wash results, only wash small loads (less than 3.7 kg) with this option.Use this function to delay ending time. The appliance will start automatically and finish after a specified time interval.Press the POWER button.Select a washing programme.Press the Lavado Demorado (Time Delay) button to set the required delay ending time.Press the START/PAUSE button.This function is the time to the end of the programme, not the start. The actual running time may vary due to water temperature, wash laundry and other factors.Each press of the button increases the delay time by 1 hour, for up to 19 hours.If the START/PAUSE button is not pressed to begin the delay time, the washer automatically turns off after a certain time and all cycle settings are lost.Select this option to rinse and spin a load separately from a regular cycle. This can be helpful in preventing fresh stains from setting in fabrics.Press the POWER button to turn on the washer.Do not select a cycle.Press and hold the Lavado Demorado (Time Delay) button for 3 seconds.You can change the spin speed by pressing the Centrifugado (Spin) button.Press the START/PAUSE button to begin.You can use this option in order to add or remove clothes after the washing programme has started.Press the POWER button.Select a washing programmePress the START/PAUSE button.Open the door after it unlocks itself and add or remove necessary clothing items.Close the door and press the START/PAUSE button.

Setting

Use Bloqueo Infantil (Child Lock) function to disable the controls. This function can prevent children from changing programmes or operating this appliance.Once this function is set, all buttons are locked except the POWER button.When the controls are locked, CL and the remaining time are alternatively shown on the display during the wash while the child lock is engaged.Turning off the power will not reset this function. You must deactivate this function before you can access any other options and functions.Turn on the power.Press and hold the Enjuague Extra (Extra Rinse) button simultaneously for 3 seconds to activate this function.Turn on the power.Press and hold the Enjuague Extra (Extra Rinse) button simultaneously for 3 seconds to deactivate this function.When this function is deactivated, a beeper will sound and the remaining time for the current cycle will reappear on the display.The washing machine plays a melody when the washing programme is finished. The buttons make a sound each time they are pressed.Press the Lavado Frío (Cold Wash) button to turn the sounds on or off.When no signal is heard, the signal is off. The signal can be turned on at any time as long as the washing machine is turned on.

Manual Washing

If you wish to drain the water, select a spin only cycle after the wash has completed.If a rinse only cycle is selected, the water supply begins after detecting the load and the cycle will start. However the water will still fill to the selected water level even if there is water already in the tub.
